Basically a community needs assessment, MAPP, has six phases that help the community to implement the change that is needed within their towns and counties. With the cooperation of all community members MAPP strives to accomplish a vast array of benefits such as: · Improvements in the community’s health and quality of life · Increased visibility of public health within the community · Community Advocates for public health and the local public health system · Stronger public health infrastructure, partnerships, and leadership. |
