IMPORTANT COVID VACCINE ANNOUNCEMENT- 1/18/2021
The Kentucky Department of Public Health has redirected the Covid vaccine supply across the state to support projects that will increase the speed of vaccination. At this time the North Central District Health Department will be receiving vaccines for the administration of booster or second doses only. This means we are not taking first dose appointments at this time.
WHAT IF YOU ARE WAITING TO GET YOUR FIRST DOSE OF COVID VACCINE?
In his January 14, 2021 press conference, Governor Beshear and Kroger Leadership announced a newly formed partnership to increase the speed of vaccine across the state of Kentucky.
Kroger Regional Vaccine Sites are set to open February 1 for individuals in Phase 1A, 1B, and 1C.
Additional phases will be announced at a later time.
WHAT IF YOU RECEIVED YOUR FIRST DOSE FROM NORTH CENTRAL DISTRICT HEALTH DEPT?
We have your contact information. We will call you to schedule your appointment for your second dose PRIOR to the date it is due. (See the due date on back of your Vaccine Card). You will need to complete a Vaccine Administration Consent Form (available on our website) and bring it with you at your appointment. If you do not have access to a computer the Vaccine Form will be provided for you to complete at your appointment.
